I have been a union member for over 30 years and deeply believe in the movement.
However, the activities of the AFL-CIO abroad have always been anathema to me. That our union movement should have played such an important role in repressing workers in other countries is abhorent.
If other Cold War entities can be consigned to the trash bins, then there surely is no reason for this one to continue to exist.
